Nick Cassidy races for Jaguar TCS Racing in the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Nick is one of New Zealand’s most successful sportsmen and one of motorsport’s most promising young talents.

Nick has spent the past five years earning his race craft in Japan where he boasts every motorsport accolade under the Rising Sun.

Born and raised in Auckland, Nick Cassidy began karting at the age of just six but has since gone on to become one motorsport’s most promising and exciting young talents.

The Tokyo-based New Zealander is the reigning Super Formula champion, as well as one of the most successful drivers in the history of the Toyota Racing Series and has even secured the coveted ‘triple crown’ of Japanese motorsport titles.

The Kiwi has achieved all this at the age of just 25 and embarked on a new chapter with the Envision Racing Formula E Team from the 2020/2021 season.

Nick took two pole positions and secured two podium finishes in his maiden season in the championship, securing his future with the team for the 2021/2022 season - where he would then go onto take his maiden FIA Formula E victory in New York City during the 2022 Season.

2023 saw Nick fight for the Championship and took it to the final race of the season - finishing P2 overall after a superb campaign.

This season he moves to the Jaguar TCS Racing team, partnering fellow Kiwi Mitch Evans for Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship
